Cotton Core
Fil-Tec’s Cotton Core wick features our patented open construction design enabling better capillary flow of more difficult wax blends such as vegetable or soy based and heavily scented or colored paraffin. Our Cotton Core candlewick is available on spools or waxed and tabbed to your manufacturing requirements.
Fil-Tec Cotton Core is a higher yield product, than conventional braided cotton core. This means longer production runs and less downtime with our cotton core. This wick is an excellent choice for container candles.

COTTON CORE Burn Rate Chart
Our wick size description is very “user-friendly”. The description represents the two hour pool diameter in a 140° melt point straight cut paraffin wax. This method allows the user to easily compare wick size and performance. This chart provides the candle maker a starting point for wick selection. Your wick selection will depend on wax blend, color and fragrance additives.
